Statutory Reporting Specialist (f/m/d)

Join Axpo Bulgaria and play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant statutory reporting across multi-jurisdictional trading activities. Be part of a dynamic team driving digitalization, automation, and innovation in energy trading reporting processes.

What you will do:

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory reports, ensuring data accuracy and quality.

  • Communicate with energy regulators and legal intermediaries across multiple countries to clarify requirements and secure compliant submissions.

  • Monitor regulatory changes, assess their impact, and implement necessary updates to reporting processes.

  • Onboard new reporting obligations, including defining data sources, mapping fields, and validating report outputs.

  • Perform data quality checks, SQL-based validations, and resolve inconsistencies.

  • Drive automation and digitalization of reporting processes, collaborating with IT and developers on system enhancements.

  • Represent statutory reporting in discussions with energy authorities and technical stakeholders.

What you bring & who you are:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

  • Experience in energy trading and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Strong understanding of energy and commodity markets, with knowledge of ENDUR or other trading platforms as a plus.

  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL or other query/programming languages is beneficial.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and structured work approach.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Curious mindset and eagerness to learn about evolving energy market regulations and reporting technologies.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are an advantage.
