Deutsche Windtechnik is a specialist in maintenance, repair, improvement and inspection of wind turbines. To strengthen our team we offer an apprenticeship as Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for wind turbines in Lauchhammer starting 01.09.2026.

Your profile

• Interest in cutting-edge technology and renewable energy
• Physical fitness and head for heights
• Strong skills in mathematics and physics
• (Soon) completed school leaving certificate or desire to switch from another apprenticeship/study programme
• Minimum age 17 at start of training; driving licence class B required by the second training year
• High willingness to travel for nationwide assignments

Training programme

During 3.5 years you will become a certified mechatronics specialist in wind energy. After basic training at our workshop in northern Germany (mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, control technology) you will work on real assignments at wind turbines together with experienced teams. Upon successful completion you will also qualify as an electrician, authorised to carry out electrical work on our turbines independently.
