Construction and Project Manager (f/m/d) for Protection and Control Technology Projects in High-Voltage Switchgear

Your area of responsibility

In the Grid Automation team of Siemens Energy/Digital Grid you will execute protection and substation automation projects for high-voltage switchgear. You take full responsibility for planning and execution, control costs, schedules and quality and coordinate on-site secondary-technology commissioning. Projects are located in German-speaking countries.

Your tasks

• End-to-end project management for secondary technology (protection & control, auxiliary supply, cabling)
• Construction management on site for the secondary part of the high-voltage switchgear
• Preparation of detailed execution plans and specifications
• Site surveys and design basis for proposals
• Risk, claim and NCC management
• Interface management to suppliers and trade coordination during commissioning
• Support in proposal preparation and regular project reporting

Your profile

• University degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as construction or project manager in the energy sector
• Solid expertise in protection and/or substation automation technology
• Experience in preparing execution plans and specifications
• Knowledge of occupational safety & EHS
• Negotiation-level German; English beneficial
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % within Germany
