A Snapshot of Your Day

Drive growth initiatives, open new markets and build strategic partnerships for Siemens Energy’s Digital Grid business. You will expand our customer base and accelerate adoption of grid management, automation, digital substation and cybersecurity solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Analyse markets and identify opportunities: track digital-grid trends, regulation and competition; convert insights into actionable strategies.
  • Build a strong sales funnel by qualifying and pursuing new business in target markets.
  • Expand relationships with utilities, regulators and partners; represent Siemens Energy at conferences and networking events.
  • Co-create client-specific value propositions with engineering, product and sales teams; translate customer needs into competitive offerings.
  • Lead bid strategy and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver compelling, technically excellent proposals.
  • Maintain key customer relationships and bring market feedback into product planning; mobilise global specialists to support regional objectives.
  • Contribute to whitepapers, forums and thought-leadership on grid digitalisation and transformation.
  • Share best practices with global Siemens Energy teams to advance international initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Energy Systems; MBA or MSc preferred.
  • Proven business-development or sales experience in the energy sector, focused on digital or smart-grid markets.
  • Deep expertise in transmission planning, power-system studies (steady-state, stability, transients, protection, power quality) and grid codes.
  • Experience with ISO/TSO connection procedures and vendors’ digital-grid technologies (overhead-line monitoring, automation, intelligent substations).
  • Strong relationship-building skills across all organisational levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities for technical and executive audiences.
  • Strategic, analytical mindset with structured implementation approach.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce), analytics and digital-sales platforms.
