Ceramic Engineer

Your contribution to our daily business

As a member of a global team, you develop advanced ceramic materials and technologies for gas turbines and energy transition applications. In close collaboration with internal partners, suppliers and research institutions, you drive new technologies from research to production.

Your tasks include developing and optimizing ceramic materials and improving manufacturing processes. You plan and evaluate experiments, work with design and production teams on critical functional features, and support pilot and small-series production.

You stabilize process parameters, perform root-cause analyses, and identify challenges during scale-up. Creating technical documentation, exploring funding opportunities, and implementing established development processes in interdisciplinary teams complete your responsibilities.

Your background

• Master’s degree in Ceramics, Materials Science, Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering, ideally with a PhD
• Several years' experience with ceramic manufacturing processes (3D printing, injection molding, casting, sintering)
• Experience in technology development, pilot production or industrialization beneficial
• Strong analytical thinking and structured work style
• Fluent German and English skills plus team collaboration ability
• Willingness to travel internationally
