Bid Proposal Engineer for Controls & Automation (f/m/d)

Your Day-to-Day

As Bid Proposal Engineer for Controls & Automation you will manage company-wide tenders from qualification to contract award, aligning customer requirements with Siemens Energy standards and delivering competitive proposals for modernization and upgrade projects with automation scope.

• Prepare customer-focused, technically optimized proposals for controls and digitalization solutions in turbomachinery and compressor projects
• Coordinate offer strategy, market pricing, customer requirements and supply scope with internal and external partners
• Deliver proposals on schedule, including technical specifications and pricing structure
• Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Sales and other project teams

What You Bring

• University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Automation, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation technology, preferably with control panel commissioning experience
• Proficiency in schematics, network diagrams, P&ID and software such as S7, TIA Portal, WinCC or PCS7 is an advantage
• Industry experience in energy/oil-&-gas applications or turbomachinery desirable
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus as you will support the Duisburg bidding team
