The Initiative Management team supports Vestas Digital Solutions with project management skills in strategic programs and cross-functional initiatives. We are currently organized in three teams – two in Denmark and one in the Philippines. This role will lead the team of project/initiative managers in Denmark.You will become part of a small leadership team, where we are three leaders closely collaborating to develop and support our employees and stakeholders in the best possible way.You will lead a team of internal Project Managers as your direct reports. You will furthermore play a central role in keeping the team fit for purpose and securing match between project managers and assignments.Your primary responsibilities will be to lead the team members and create a solid foundation for them to lead and perform well in their assignments. Stakeholder collaboration will be an important part of the role, as you’ll work closely with requesters.

Responsibilities

• People development: Assist, coach, and guide each individual to grow and thrive. Ensure each person has annual performance targets to promote an execution mindset, maintain high standards, and reach strategic objectives
• Resource planning: Match the right resources to the demand through a thorough understanding of business needs and team competencies. Plan ahead to ensure the right talent base is available to staff upcoming demands
• Communication and collaboration: Build and maintain close relationships with key suppliers and consultants, and ensure administrative processes are fulfilled

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication, Business Administration, or IT, combined with people leadership experience
• Experience from large organisations with global delivery models 
• Extensive experience within project management in a product-lead context having a broad knowledge of theory and discipline within the field
• Formal education/certifications in leadership and project management such as PMP/Prince2/Agile
• Experience in stakeholder management, including communication with various internal and external partners
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken
