GIS Commissioning Engineer

Your Day-to-Day:

As a GIS Commissioning Engineer at Siemens Energy you will execute the commissioning and testing of GIS high-voltage equipment. You lead a diverse installation team, prepare project schedules and method statements, control timing and quality, and communicate proactively with customers and stakeholders while driving Zero Harm and a strong EHS mindset on site.

Your Profile:

• University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
• 5–10 years of experience with high-voltage GIS equipment, especially commissioning and testing
• Solid knowledge of IEC standards and EU F-Gas regulations for SF₆ handling
• Excellent command of German and Arabic plus fluent English
• Strong problem-solving skills and resilience under critical conditions
• Experience with GIS switchgear, control circuits and high-voltage test methods
