Deutsche Windtechnik is a European specialist in maintenance, repair and inspection of wind turbines. Our Aschersleben depot is looking for apprentices to start 01 Sep 2026:

Apprenticeship – Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d), Wind Energy Focus

In 3.5 years we train you to become a qualified mechatronics specialist for wind turbines. You learn how to build, install, maintain and repair state-of-the-art plants, complete electrical training and attain authorized electrician status for wind turbines.

Your profile

• Secondary-school certificate with good grades in maths/physics
• Physically fit, free from vertigo, minimum 17 years at start of training
• Driving licence Class B by second year
• Willingness to work on assignments throughout Germany

What to expect

• 38.5 h/week, 30 days holiday
• Initial training in our workshop in northern Germany, thereafter hands-on turbine work with experienced mentors
• External courses and in-house classes
