Your Day at a Glance:As a Steel Plate Fitter at Siemens Energy you will tackle complex, high-level projects maintaining and repairing large steam and gas-turbine generators. Working side-by-side with our Field Service teams on customer sites, you will uphold rigorous quality and safety standards while driving operational excellence and innovation.How You’ll Make an Impact:

Execute maintenance, repair and modification of large steam and gas-turbine generators
Diagnose and resolve sophisticated technical issues on site
Collaborate with FS Shift Leads and Engineers to meet quality and EHS requirements
Manage subcontractors for specialized maintenance tasks
Lead safety initiatives and conduct risk assessments to maintain a safe workplace
Submit detailed quality and data records to the Shift Lead

What You Bring:

10+ years’ experience as a steel plate fitter, preferably on heavy-duty gas turbines
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Expert skills in steel-plate cutting, grinding and repair
Strong communication and ability to follow technical instructions
Willingness to travel extensively on assignments lasting 2–10 weeks
Confined-space and working-at-height safety certifications
