Mechanical AGT Field Service Representative

Your Day-to-Day

Join the Aeroderivative Gas Turbine (AGT) Mechanical Field Service Team and travel extensively across the United States and North America for exciting on-site assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical disassembly, inspection, reassembly and commissioning on AGT units (A05, A35/RB211, A65/Trent)
• Plan, coordinate and document planned or unplanned outages, installations and retrofits
• Perform borescope inspections, filter changes, valve servicing and visual checks according to Siemens standards
• Write detailed technical reports and interpret engineering drawings
• Strictly follow all EHS policies of Siemens Energy and customers
• Be available for short-notice travel, shift, weekend and holiday work in challenging conditions

Required Qualifications

• High-school diploma/GED or equivalent vocational training
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas or power-generation environment, 5+ years with aeroderivative gas turbines preferred
• Proven background in strip/re-build of rotating machinery and auxiliary air, fuel and oil systems
• Skills in borescope inspections, laser alignment and Allen-Bradley software advantageous
• Strong ability to write detailed technical reports
• Valid driver’s licence and passport (or ability to obtain)
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship
