R&D Project Manager – Mechanical Engineering

Your Day-to-Day

As R&D Project Manager, you will lead medium- to large-scale R&D projects through Siemens Energy’s Product Development Process. You define project scope, schedule, budget and quality targets and ensure delivery. By identifying risks early, initiating countermeasures and motivating a multicultural, agile team, you turn complex plans into market-ready solutions for gas turbines, steam turbines and generators. Regular stakeholder reporting and a blend of classic and agile methods drive projects to success.

Requirements

• MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven R&D project experience or strong willingness to learn
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Solution-oriented, flexible, goal-driven
• Very good English; Swedish is a plus
• Project-management certification (PMP, IPMA, PM@Siemens) preferred
• MS Office 365 and tools such as MSP, Planview or Primavera
