Apprenticeship as Retail Sales Assistant (Organic) – Kaarst 2026

During your three-year retail apprenticeship at Denns BioMarkt you will discover every area of our organic store – from shelving and displays to the cheese, bakery and bistro counters, as well as checkout and back-office operations. You will present premium organic food attractively, advise customers expertly, receive, check, store and reorder goods and support marketing and sales campaigns. Together with your team you ensure smooth procedures and a pleasant shopping environment.

Your tasks

• Present and arrange high-quality organic groceries
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly customer advice on organic products
• Operate registers and balance tills
• Implement promotional activities and campaigns
• Place orders, handle deliveries, conduct quality checks and organise storage
• Participate in seasonal sales promotions

• Good school results, preferably intermediate school-leaving certificate
• Enjoy working with people and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Team spirit, commitment and a sense of responsibility
• Interest in organic and natural products
