Junior Back Office Specialist (f/m/d)

Join Axpo Ukraine and play a key role in supporting our gas and power trading operations. With a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and process automation, you’ll collaborate across teams to ensure smooth operations and regulatory compliance.

What you will do:

• Reconcile traded gas and power volumes, financial data, and counterparties’ documentation.

• Monitor cash flow and manage daily margin reporting and payment confirmations.

• Manage accounts receivable, ensuring alignment with contracts and operational documentation.

• Support contract lifecycle management, including agreements, invoicing, and compliance monitoring.

• Prepare regulatory reports (REMIT/APD) and ensure accurate volume and deal reporting.

• Maintain operational databases, assist with automation, and download monthly certificates from trading platforms.

What you bring & who you are:

• University degree in Economics or relevant training/experience as Office Manager.

• Ideally, experience in back-office operations or the energy industry.

• Advanced MS Excel skills (large datasets, formulas, pivot tables, VBA/Power Query).

• Practical Python experience (e.g., pandas, numpy) is a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with energy sector systems (trading, scheduling, settlement) is a plus.

• Fluent English (minimum B2) and Ukrainian (bilingual/mother tongue).

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

• Proactive and independent, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
