Senior Manager (m/f/d) Electricity Direct Marketing

As Senior Manager (m/f/d) Electricity Direct Marketing, you take full responsibility for all processes in the direct marketing business unit – from market communication to billing. You create schedules on time and handle market processes (MaKo) in accordance with GPKE/MPES. Working closely with IT, Energy Operations and grid operators, you coordinate the technical connection (remote controllability) of plants. Together with your team, you develop marketing strategies for renewable energy plants and optimise revenues on spot and intraday markets. You monitor regulatory frameworks (EEG, EnWG) and ensure that all reporting obligations are met in compliance with the law. Managing external and internal service providers – e.g. balancing group managers, IT providers and metering operators – is also part of your remit, including independently negotiating contracts.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in direct marketing, portfolio management or comparable energy industry processes
• In-depth knowledge of the German energy market, market roles and communication/settlement processes
• Strong command of the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG) and current Federal Network Agency regulations
• Sound understanding of electricity exchange price formation and the economic valuation of renewable energy profiles
• Hands-on mentality for building new structures; independent, solution-oriented approach
• Ability to convey complex energy industry issues precisely to internal and external stakeholders
