Technical Engineer (f/m/d) for Production Equipment

Your contribution in daily business
You procure and modernize manufacturing equipment for our low-emission power generation. From the initial idea to handover to production you manage machinery projects of any size, coordinate internal departments and external suppliers and thus ensure safe, efficient operation of our machine fleet.
  • Project handling: planning, tendering, acceptance and handover of new and retrofitted manufacturing equipment – from single machines to large linked systems
  • Technical inspection: performing pre- and final acceptance tests in accordance with the Machinery Directive, CE conformity, safety regulations and applicable standards
  • Optimization: analysis of faults and weaknesses during the warranty period, derivation of improvement measures to increase availability and efficiency
  • Maintenance: coordination of servicing, repairs and retrofits, management of external service providers, ensuring complete documentation
  • Interface: central contact for production, quality, EHS and suppliers on all technical issues concerning manufacturing equipment
What you bring
  • Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable technical training with further qualification (technician/master craftsman)
  • Several years of professional experience in planning and procurement of production equipment, experience with CE marking, Machinery Directive and occupational safety
  • Confident user skills in SAP and MS Office, ideally experience with CAD systems (2D/3D)
  • Strong organizational skills, high quality awareness and enjoyment of independent work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Negotiation-level German and good English skills, both written and spoken, high willingness to travel (national & international)
