Working Student Software Engineering (m/f/d)

We are looking for you as a Working Student Software Engineering (m/f/d) to join our tech team in Berlin, Munich or Hamburg.

1KOMMA5° is building Germany’s largest one-stop shop for the sale, installation and servicing of solar panels, heat pumps, electricity storage and charging infrastructure – all intelligently connected for a carbon-neutral energy supply.

Your responsibilities

• Help shape our ERP and service software for PV, heat-pump and e-mobility projects
• Develop and maintain customer-facing web applications with React, TypeScript and Next.js
• Support backend development with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript and Node.js/NestJS
• Work in agile, cross-functional teams of developers, product managers and designers
• Automate, test and continuously improve the developer experience
• Document technical decisions and reduce tech debt

Your profile

• At least two more semesters enrolled at a German university in computer science or a comparable field
• Availability for 20 hours per week
• First practical experience with TypeScript and modern web development
• Basic knowledge of RESTful API design and clean-code principles
• Agile, results-oriented way of working and team spirit
• Very good English skills, German is a plus
• Residence in Germany

Nice-to-have

• Experience in the energy sector or start-ups
• Knowledge of Flutter, GCP, Terraform or Docker
