Workday Specialist

Your Day-to-Day

As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, we are standardizing and harmonizing our HR systems and services. We are looking for an experienced Workday Specialist to serve as the regional point of contact for all Workday topics. You will configure, deploy, and support Workday solutions across modules such as HCM, Security, Compensation, Talent & Absence Management. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you deliver efficient, scalable Workday implementations and continuous improvements. Join us at the forefront of the energy transition.

Your Responsibilities

• Regional Workday support: central contact for all Workday questions and issues
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday configurations for your region
• Act as liaison between internal business partners and external vendors for ongoing Workday administration
• Monitor open tickets with the Application Management Service provider and ensure timely resolution
• Provide functional and technical assistance to end-users and maintain the Workday system post-go-live
• Optional role as Global Functional Lead for one Workday module (HCM, Absence, Compensation, Reporting/Data or Security)

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Business, HR, or related field
• 3+ years hands-on Workday experience in configuration and support
• Workday certification in one or more modules preferred
• Solid understanding of relevant HR/Payroll/Finance processes
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Workday integrations and reporting tools is a plus
