Junior Settlement Trading Specialist – 12 months FTC (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate control of cash flows between the trading system (ENDUR) and accounting (SAP/BC)
• Manage financial settlement of electricity, gas, certificate, coal, oil contracts and derivatives
• Investigate and clarify settlement queries together with internal teams and external partners
• Provide active reporting to management and stakeholders for transparency and decision-making
• Support process handovers and establish new workflows within the local and wider European team
• Collaborate on projects that affect Settlement Trading processes to drive innovation and efficiency
• Maintain close communication with colleagues in Switzerland and other European stakeholders
• Accompany audits and develop sustainable solutions to address findings
• Continuously optimize processes to enhance quality, efficiency and compliance standards

What you bring:

• Degree or equivalent education in accounting, finance, economics, business or a technical field
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
• Strong analytical skills and tenacity in investigations
• Proficiency in Excel for analysing large data sets; experience with ETRM and ERP systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of energy trading processes and financial markets is desirable
• Excellent communication skills and ability to align stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Team-oriented, adaptable and eager to learn
• High customer and result orientation while maintaining quality under time pressure
