Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Special Task-Onshore East

Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering OFFSHORE, NORTH-WEST (Scandinavia, UK, Ireland) CENTRAL (Germany and Benelux), and EAST Baltic countries (Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia and Kazakhstan). Our responsibilities include Sales, Project, Installation, and Service of wind farms in these regions.

Special Task-Onshore EAST is responsible for:

• Technical Planning and Coordination of Main Components and Blades activities

• Coordination of Commissioning activities

The main tasks of the Commissioning Planner are to build, optimize, and update the execution of the projects in all phases in line with the contractual and financial objectives. The Planner is accountable for the planning result and should engage in all actions to make it happen. Moreover, the Planner is responsible for the accuracy of the information to analyze the project portfolio of the Region.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination commissioning phase of construction between the Construction and Service departments
  • Crew schedules are managed on a weekly basis
  • Periodical update, follow-up, analysis, and submittal of the projects assigned and their respective Project Portfolio of the Region
  • Obtain data on Project progress, logistics, and manpower from Project Managers or other project personnel
  • Forecast commissioning teams for the coordination, evaluation, planning, tracking, controlling, and reporting of Project Schedules for all capital projects performed in the Region

Qualifications

  • Technical and planning framework understanding (training will be provided)
  • Thinking and acting in processes
  • High degree of flexibility (working in a changing environment)
  • Interpersonal skills
  • High communications skills
  • Safety awareness
  • System user of MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce beneficial, however, training will be given

Competencies

  • You have good communication skills targeting the relevant audience in the organization, across cultures
  • You are well organized and disciplined in developing projects, with proficiency in English
  • You have a good understanding of budgeting and why maintenance of project data is important to keep transparency
  • You are a good and outgoing personality, with a great sense of responsibility
  • You take joint responsibility for our project team's performance, responsibility for your decisions and speak up when facing challenges and issues
  • You communicate upwards, outwards, and downwards in an open, direct, and honest way to ensure full transparency and alignment
  • You approach our projects with curiosity and monitor them diligently
