People & Culture > Global Reward, Mobility & Travel > Global Reward, Mobility & Travel The Global Reward team in Vestas oversees all global policies and processes within the area of compensation & benefits. We work in a global and strategic context establishing the frameworks and governance that enable Vestas to attract and retain international talent while positioning ourselves as a competitive and responsible employer. To ensure the right frameworks and governance we use a methodical and holistic approach to design, develop and implement programmes and processes within the compensation and benefits area; including incentives, position and organisational evaluation, cost scenarios, projects with insured and other employee benefits. We also advise and approve decisions regarding compensation across the organisation with the use of internal and external benchmarks and detailed data analysis.   Responsibilities

  • Advisor role for HRBPs in the region on the Reward area- Regional governance of compensation structures and components; i.e. position evaluation, spot awards, off-cycle increase, allowances, benefits, and other elements related to total compensation
  • Regional compensation expert, by providing HR colleagues and business stakeholders with advice and guidance. Challenge stakeholders on compensation-related issues, market trends, compliance, cost, and risk
  • Regional responsibility for the annual reward cycle; i.e. updating benchmarks, renewal of insured benefits, total cost data collection, budget input, annual merit and bonus, off-cycle increases / promotion approvals, etc
  • Ensure global programs and policies are implemented according to legislation, marked practice, and local business needs
  • Auditing and reporting of compensation data and specific focus areas (i.e. spot awards, promotions, salary position in range, etc.)
  • Support the development of Vestas compensation and benefit strategy 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, HR, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Reward Specialist, or similar role
  • Experience from an international company working with compensation and reward processes and data in countries in the European region
  • Expertise in Reward processes
  • Experience with compensation survey data sources and methodologies
  • Highly experienced in Excel and HR systems, including SuccessFactors and SAP
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken

  • Financial understanding and interest, with proficiency in analyzing data and working with quantitative information
  • High level of quality and compliance with process and policy, ensuring thorough and accurate work
  • Detail-oriented and experienced in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Solution-oriented approach combined with a holistic perspective to address complex challenges effectively
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team but also individually to meet deadlines
  • Comprehensive stakeholder management skills to build and maintain productive relationships
