As Operations & Shift Dispatcher at Axpo Hydro Surselva AG you ensure safe, resource-saving and efficient operation of our power-plant and grid assets. Based in the plant control room (KSS) you monitor the installations 24/7 and act as the central contact for every operational situation.

Your tasks

• Shift operation (24/7) and continuous monitoring of hydro-power and grid installations
• Logging, forwarding and coordinating fault messages and on-call staff
• Creation and implementation of energy schedules
• Preparation of water-budget forecasts for the Flex-Pool
• Plausibility checks and ongoing monitoring of Flex-Pool schedules
• Weekly on-site inspections of power-plant facilities

Your profile

• Completed technical apprenticeship (e.g. automation technician EFZ, electrician EFZ, power-systems electrician, mechanical technician EFZ or comparable)
• Experience in operation and maintenance of hydro-power plants advantageous
• Strong systems-engineering knowledge
• Proficient in MS-Office and digital tools
• Ability to think systematically and learn quickly
• Self-reliant, decisive and reliable working style
