Within our department we are currently looking for a dedicated technical Project Manager to lead complex heavy lift projects within the Major Component Replacement team.

As a Project Manager your key role will be to design, develop and manage projects, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards, Stakeholder requirements and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS).

This is an opportunity to be part of a growing team within a dynamic business, delivering innovation to the renewable energy.

Some of your key tasks will include, but not be limited to:        

  • Project responsibility in terms of time, cost and quality delivered - from scoping phase until project closure
  • Ensuring that Environment, Health & Safety standards, procedures, and plans are implemented at project sites to create a Home Safe environment
  • Defining the technical project scope together with the technical department and supporting the tender process together with procurement
  • Supporting the CPM (Critical Path Method) with the budget and cost planning structure, risk analysis and contingency plan
  • Plan resources, cranes, material & tools and logistics for the execution
  • Executing the project according to agreed working packages, budget and timelines
  • Controlling, Preparing and Maintaining the project status (financially as well as technically)
  • Adhering to budgets and initiating actions to minimize non-conformance cost
  • Leading the daily project execution and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Supporting on internal improvement, quality and standardization projects

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. Additionally, you fit to the following requirements:

  • A university degree in engineering or any equivalent degree or relevant work experience (technical or commercial studies incl. project management courses), preferably with a focus on the wind business
  • Several years of working experience with project management - preferably of international service/repair projects - with multiple stakeholders and suppliers
  • It is an advantage if you have documented your experience through relevant Project Management Certification
  • Experience with completing heavy lift projects involving mobile cranes and have a basic understanding of the technical aspects related to the wind business
  • Experience of managing 3rd party contractors always ensuring performance meets required standard with regards to Safety and Quality
  • Project Management Certification would be an advantage
  • Structured approach to your assignments (incl. structured documentation) and can handle project scope changes
  • Excellent English language skills, both orally and in writing. Spanish language skills, both orally and in writing, would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel and provide visible leadership to onsite project execution team
  • Hands on experience in Microsoft Office 365 applications, in particular Excel, Power Point and SharePoint
