Apprenticeship as Retail Sales Assistant – Zwickau (Start 2026)

During your 3-year apprenticeship as a Retail Sales Assistant you will discover every aspect of our organic supermarket: from inventory management and customer advice to checkout operations. You take responsibility for product presentation, seasonal promotions and the placement of organic foods. Working closely with your team you ensure smooth daily operations and give competent advice on natural products. Your training covers fruit & vegetables, cheese and bakery counters, the bistro and administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities

• create attractive displays of organic product ranges
• provide competent, friendly customer service
• operate tills and balance cash registers
• implement promotional activities and special offers
• organise ordering, goods-in checks and stock management
• support sales campaigns and seasonal merchandising

What you bring

• sound school record, preferably with intermediate school-leaving certificate
• enjoy dealing with people and strong team spirit
• interest in organic and sustainable products
• commitment, reliability and a hands-on attitude
