Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer (South West)

Help us accelerate the global renewable-energy revolution. We need experienced dual-fuel smart-meter engineers who excel in safety and customer service to represent Octopus Energy in customers’ homes across the South West.

What you’ll do

• Install and commission SMETS2 dual-fuel smart meters
• Demonstrate in-home displays and explain how smart metering helps cut energy use
• Answer questions on green energy and Octopus tariffs
• Work with our tech and scheduling teams to minimise admin and maximise service time

Essential

• MOCoPA certificate (within 2 years) + evidence
• Gas Safe CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
• Proven customer-facing field experience

Package

• £36,500 base salary (£3,042/month gross)
• £2,500 annual performance bonus + per-fit bonuses
• £25/week lunch allowance

Call-out & overtime

• 1-in-5 weeks call-out rota: £250 retainer + door-to-door pay if called
• Saturday premium: £50 attendance + £70 dual-fuel install / £35 single
