Commercial Project Manager

Your working day:

We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. You will report to the Lead Commercial Manager and support the Project Manager in diligently controlling and optimising project results.

Your responsibilities:

• Ownership of project success in line with PM standards, customer requirements and Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG)
• Ensuring accurate cost and price calculations and clean project books
• Preparation of commercial reports for project status meetings; accurate forecasting of revenue, profit and cash flow
• Invoicing in accordance with project progress and contract terms
• Pro-active cost and invoice management to optimise project cash flow
• Ensuring FRG compliance
• Management of guarantees, bonds and project securities
• Identification and minimisation of Non-Conformance Costs (NCC) together with the Project Manager
• Timely contractual notifications
• Contract administration together with Project Manager and Commercial Contracts Manager
• Joint management of customer expectations with the Project Manager

Your profile:

• Experience in commercial project management and controlling in the plant and construction business
• Knowledge of contract terms in engineering and construction contracts
• Experience in project budgeting and risk & opportunity management

CA/CIMA/ACCA qualification advantageous
• Strong team-working skills

The team:

Eleven Commercial Project Managers and six Project Controllers manage contracts worth over £1 billion. You will work closely with Commercial Contracts Managers and project execution.
