Development Engineer (m/f/d) High Voltage

Your scope of work

As a Development Engineer High Voltage you will join project teams working on high-voltage testing and dielectric requirements of switchgear and circuit-breakers.

Your responsibilities

• Plan, perform and evaluate test series and prepare decision analyses
• Analyse and present test results on vacuum interrupters
• Support project managers in assessing feasibility and development time
• Supervise circuit-breaker assembly and define test parameters for development and type tests
• Compile test reports and technical documentation
• Communicate with internal and external partners and look after test equipment

Your profile

• Degree in electrical engineering with focus on high-voltage engineering
• Knowledge of design and function of vacuum interrupters
• Understanding of key parameters and operation of high-voltage transmission networks
• Skills in electric field calculation
• Strong analytical ability, team spirit, communication skills and assertiveness
• Very good German and English language skills
