Global Mobility Specialist

As Global Mobility Specialist for Grid Technology Solutions you act as the central interface between the Delegations Office, projects, regional units, global-mobility providers, HR Global Mobility and external stakeholders, ensuring compliant, on-time delegations with excellent commercial results and high employee satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

• Implement Siemens Energy’s global Internal Assignment guidelines; currently 700 delegates worldwide and growing
• Build, coordinate and optimise IA processes across Germany, India, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, Spain, the UK and the USA
• Support initial project clarification (defining foreign assignment conditions) and ongoing clarifications throughout project execution
• Ensure compliance for contractual and commercial settlements between the project (host unit) and home office (sending unit)
• Cover compliance in immigration, social security, equal pay, travel security and taxation for delegates
• Guarantee on-time assignments for all travellers in the business unit

Your profile

• University degree or equivalent; 6+ years of experience in global mobility and project advisory required
• Fluent English; additional languages welcome
• Willingness to travel up to 10 consecutive days to hub locations
• Team player, strong communicator, proactive, able to handle conflict and make decisions
