Operational Buyer (f/m/d)

Your new area of responsibility

As an operational buyer (f/m/d) you will efficiently implement the procurement strategies defined by Corporate Commodity Management. You will work closely with internal customers and your motivated team and coordinate with global raw material management teams to implement long-term improvement projects.

Your tasks

• Cooperate with global and local commodity management and production sites to increase efficiency in planning and executing procurement activities
• Supplier selection based on qualification, framework agreements, raw-material strategy and supplier performance
• Monitor the procurement list, create and update purchase orders and track execution
• Ensure compliance with transport and customs requirements together with logistics
• Contract management including claim management and clarification of terms
• Continuous optimisation of procurement processes and supplier base

Your profile

• Degree in business administration, (industrial) engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
• First experience in procurement
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Negotiation-level German and English
• SAP purchasing and MS Office skills
• Structured, solution-oriented working style with hands-on mentality
