Quality & EHS Specialist

A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will support key functions at the facility including Quality, EHS, Security, Facility Management and IT. The position provides support to the organization by creating a safe, healthy, effective workspace. You will help drive the development and maintenance of processes that ensure safe, precise, and efficient completion of work, both on-site and in the field. You will collaborate with quality professionals across North America, ensuring compliance with QEHS standards and corporate requirements to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations. The position also includes working with corporate real estate, maintenance support and the landlord management team to provide a productive and inspiring working environment. You will help foster operational excellence and help the organization achieve right-first-time execution and enhanced efficiency in all activities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Compliance & Standards – Ensures adherence to QEHS, industry regulations, and corporate policies, mitigating risk and safeguarding organizational integrity.
• Operational Efficiency – Implements improvements that reduce waste, streamline workflows, and enhance right-first-time performance.
• Continuous Improvement – Champions a culture of innovation, learning, and advancement through Lean, Six Sigma, and other best practices to obtain process excellence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Engages with stakeholders across facilities, product lines, and geographies to achieve objectives.
• Workforce Development – Mentors, coaches, and empowers teams to uphold high-quality standards and take ownership of outcomes.
• Risk Management – Identifies potential quality issues early, implements preventive measures, and ensures timely resolution. Teach risk management concepts to others in the organization to broaden impact.
• Field Performance – Oversees elements of service quality in both facility operations and field activities, ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

• Engineering or science-based degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 5-10 years’ experience in an industrial quality-related position working with ISO standards

• Experience with internal and supplier auditing as a tool to improve quality
• Problem-solving skills using tools like FMEA, Ishikawa, 5-Why, Lean and others

• Formal quality certifications are a plus (CQE, CQA, etc.)
• Ability to understand building systems and related processes.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
