Composite Inspector & Drone Pilot

Siemens Gamesa has a vision for renewable energy: we believe in the power of nature and technology. This position is responsible for drone inspections, field inspections, repairs, and design modifications of wind-turbine blades and other composite components. You will collect technical field data and support design changes and corrective actions. Relocation is not offered for this role.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Execute drone-based condition assessments of rotor blades
• Conduct field inspections and evaluate damage to composite parts
• Perform on-site repairs and design modifications
• Record and document technical data for R&D and service teams
• Support development of corrective actions and design improvements

What You Bring

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (driving is essential)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)
• Experience with composite materials and/or inspection techniques preferred
• Willingness to travel and work at height
• Strong technical understanding and meticulous approach
