Control Engineer

Your Day

Join the SE WP ON EN SG3.X team and ensure peak performance of our platform during the service phase. You will analyze wind-turbine control algorithms, perform root-cause analyses, develop improvement proposals and work closely with the Control team to increase energy yield and reduce loads. Creating new technical procedures and tools will complement your contribution to continual performance and knowledge enhancement.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyse performance data to verify efficient turbine operation
• Conduct frequency analysis on time-series data to identify optimisation potential
• Model and script with Matlab/Simulink
• Define validation tests for wind-turbine control systems

Your Profile

• BA/MA degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Pro-active mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
• Strong team player with clear communication across internal interfaces
• Advanced MS Office skills and programming experience in C/C++ (Visual Studio)

The Team

Within the SE WP ON EN SG3.X team you carry overall responsibility for the platform from technical, performance, maintenance and commercial perspectives. You will manage diverse technical projects and coordinate closely with stakeholders, especially the TE team acting as Design Authority for the SG3.X platform.
