Controls Applications Engineer

You develop hardware solutions to replace obsolete Allen-Bradley systems, ensuring continued availability of our gas-turbine fleet. Using functional specifications you create complex software modules for the Rockwell ControlLogix platform or migrate legacy systems. You analyse dynamic behaviour, optimise control algorithms and guarantee continuous system performance.

Your responsibilities

• Design hardware concepts to replace obsolete Allen-Bradley components
• Develop and test ControlLogix software modules
• Analyse and resolve faults in ControlLogix and Allen-Bradley environments
• Provide on-site technical support during commissioning
• Prepare customer quotations including engineering effort and hardware requirements

Your profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation or instrumentation
• Minimum 6 years’ experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley control systems
• InTouch HMI experience advantageous
• Proficient in configuration and project-management tools
• Systematic, documentation-oriented working style
