Your Role

As Material Planning Manager, you will own end-to-end material planning and data integrity for an entire aircraft platform or major subsystem, ensuring that design, production, supplier capacity and operational execution stay fully synchronized.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the end-to-end material-availability strategy
• Master-data governance (BOMs, lead times, planning parameters)
• Drive forecast communication to suppliers
• Proactively integrate engineering changes into the supply chain
• Resolve material shortages through targeted analysis and escalation
• Drive continuous process improvement through analytics and KPI-based optimization

Requirements

• 1-10+ years in material/supply planning, preferably aerospace, robotics or automotive
• Strong MRP/ERP skills (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Proven track record of building planning processes in dynamic development environments
• Strong data-analysis skills for forecast accuracy and inventory optimization
• Willingness to travel 30-50%, mainly Asia and North America

We offer

Annual base salary 118,000-259,000 USD (≈9,833-21,583 USD/month gross), plus equity, bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Full-time, permanent, on-site in South San Francisco.
