Field Service Engineer Power Plant Maintenance and Operations

Join our Field Service team, travel to U.S. power plants and maintain large gas & steam turbines and generators. You ensure safe project execution and manage customer relations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build skills in equipment O&M, safety, project management and Siemens Energy business systems
• Lead technicians during planned & unplanned outages
• Disassemble, inspect and reassemble turbines and generators
• Partner with global engineering as primary outage contact
• Control costs, launch new offerings and create planning templates
• Head internal projects and present to executive leadership

What You Bring

• High-school diploma or equivalent plus ≥5 years technical leadership in power-plant or facilities maintenance; Associate/Bachelor degree preferred
• Passion for solving complex mechanical issues in teams
• Self-driven leader who crafts innovative solutions
• Willingness to travel up to 250 days/year for 2-15 week assignments
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Leadership, communication and digital literacy
• Ability to work 12-14 h shifts, climb ladders, enter confined spaces and lift 40 lbs

U.S. work authorization required. Role can be based nationwide.
