Apprenticeship as Electronic Technician for Industrial Systems

As an apprentice Electronic Technician for Industrial Systems at SMA you will commission and optimize electrical installations, analyze process data for faults and learn to calculate and design electrical systems. You will install drive and automation systems, create CAD drawings for 3D printing and program PLC systems. The 3.5-year program is completed in our specialist departments and training workshop in Niestetal, and at the Oskar-von-Miller School in Kassel.

• Build and commission electrical installations from drawings
• Maintain and service drive and automation systems
• Evaluate data with analysis software and troubleshoot faults
• Work with CAD drawings and PLC programming

Your profile

• Successfully completed Realschule (intermediate school leaving certificate)
• Technical understanding of electrical systems and enthusiasm for hands-on work
• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
• Solution-oriented approach and ability to work in a team
• High safety awareness
