How to contribute to our vision

Supports the quality culture of an Engineering/Production unit by process and method competence.

  • Dedicated Resident Quality Engineer for Nacelles assembly partner in China for a period of 2-3 years
  • Build key interface in the SGRE resident team between the assembly partner and SGRE global organization
  • Bring the resident team up to speed, especially following the ramp up support by the global organization
  • Ensure the operative support of the respective partner with short-term improvement projects and technical expertise
  • Supporting other quality functions like NC coordination or quality inspections on demand
  • Build factory interface to new development and ramp up projects to ensure proper roll out of N EQS deliverables
  • Ensuring roll out of Nacelles standards
  • Identify, define and implement best practices as well as benchmarking of quality approaches
  • Establish contact point for the internal customer
  • Monitor assembly partner performance and report KPIs into global Nacelles organization 
  • Analyze assembly partner performance, identify weaknesses and support continuous improvement

What You Need To Make a Difference

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / industrial engineering / a relevant field
  • English level – Advanced
  • Supports the compliance with normative necessities as a codes and standards manager, procures and manages relevant codes and standards, provides them to the engineering organization and, if necessary, informs about changes.
  • Manages and coordinates the maintenance of procedures and work instructions for Engineering.
  • Issues the requirements for change request management in the projects and provides if necessary suitable methods.
  • Provides procedural support for the engineering organization at e.g.:
    • Creation of quality notifications
    • Provision, maintenance and evaluation of processes (e.g. NCR, capa), together with the Quality-organization
    • Planning and execution of design reviews in cooperation with the QMiP
    • Planning and execution of internal projects (e.g. lean) or events (e.g. capa)
    • ISO 9000 certifications; Quality audits; supplier qualifications
  • Acts independently from project management (PM@Siemens).
  • May actively execute or initiate internal quality measures (e.g. formal checks of data bases or documentations).
