We are looking for a Power System Engineer to join our Grid Connection department.
For our Technology team “RMS” we are looking for a person for development and optimization of our electrical simulation models, as well as taking part in the future development and design of our electrical simulation model platform and perform simulation studies on specific Wind Power Plants. The team develops several different electrical simulation models for Siemens Gamesa Wind Turbines which are used in grid connection studies, grid code compliance studies and other electrical system studies.

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
The ideal candidate holds a M.SC. or Ph.D. within Electrical Engineering, or similar, and a minimum of 3+ years of experience within model development of electrical simulation models just as further experience within electrical simulation studies, control systems and software development will be an advantage.
Demonstrable experience with one or more of the following simulation tools:
If you have demonstrable experience with one or more of the following software languages it is an advantage:
Demonstrable experience within various kind of simulation studies with focus on grid compliance is an advantage.
An overall Software and programming understanding together with knowledge and experience within wind turbines is an advantage.
It is important that you are a dedicated team player and you thrive in a multi-cultural environment – just as you possess fluency in spoken and written English
In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
