For our Manufacturing support department in Aalborg, we are looking for a committed and motivated industrial engineer for the blade repair team.

You'll be a part of a team of industrial engineers engaged with several processes e.g., blade repairs, filler, paint, leading edge protection, lightning protection system, sensors, add-ons, milling and drilling of blade root end. The team is involved with optimizing existing and developing new processes.

The main process ownership for this position is repair of blades and all relating processes.

How to contribute to our vision

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Overall process responsibility for all processes related to repair and finish of wind turbine blades together with team of engineers
  • Support production on daily basis, with your technical expertise in blade repairs
  • Optimizing existing processes and ensure design for manufacturing of new blade types
  • Create and update documentation (work instructions, Risk Assessments and P-FMEA)
  • If you are interested in large scale composite structures and daily operations this is the position for you

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

To thrive in this position, it is important you have a structured approach to work and can handle simultaneous assignments without losing overview. Additionally, you should have the ability to work both independently and in teams.

We imagine that you have a bachelor or master´s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Composite Engineering, Manufacturing Technology you could also have an education as a production technologist or earned your skillset of an industrial engineer through years of proven work in the field.

Experience is not a requirement as long as you have a cross-functional mindset and motivation to learn and develop yourself. So if you are a newly graduate your application is just as well appreciated.

Lastly, we assume you have strong communication skills in English and Danish, both orally and in writing.
