Technical Instructor

Region MED > SBU MED Service > MED-Training The Service and Construction Training Department delivers safety and technical training for technicians in the Vestas Service organization, customers and subcontractors. As a Technical Instructor, you will deliver training for Vestas technicians, Vestas employees, customers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct technical and safety training programs; develop and implement technical and safety training for different target groups
• Attend meetings regularly and participate in training-related discussions
• Maintenance of training equipment
• Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills
• Mentor other instructors in the subject matter content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle
• Continuously develop new competencies and knowledge on Vestas’ products, policies, and procedures to support training demand
• Support training administration by providing necessary reports for training completion
• Maintain personal development timelines to teach new courses 

Qualifications

• Background in mechanic, electronic, electrical or any similar background
• 2-5 years of experience in operations and maintenance on wind turbines or similar equipment
• Relevant work experience in a similar position, ideally from the wind energy industry
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Driver's license class B
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)

• Solid ability to verbally communicate complex concepts to a variety of people during a classroom or hands-on presentation, including assessing and checking for understanding
• Highly interested in conducting technical trainings and keen on teaching others

• Cultural awareness and flexibility
• Problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated, focused, open-minded and team-oriented
