Service Technician (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines – USA

We are the Windtastics – 2,200 highly qualified specialists dedicated to the maintenance, repair, optimization and inspection of wind turbines. We support around 7,000 wind farms worldwide and drive the energy transition forward every day.

To strengthen our expansion in the USA we are looking for Service Technicians (m/f/d) to join our teams on site. You will work alongside international colleagues to advance innovative onshore technologies and help shape the future of wind energy in the United States.

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as electrician, mechatronics technician or comparable technical profession
• First experience in the wind industry is an advantage
• High sense of responsibility, reliability and willingness to perform
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to share knowledge
• Class B or BE driving license
• Basic knowledge of English and motivation to learn the language and culture

Your tasks

• Service and maintenance work on wind turbines
• Assembly and disassembly of mechanical and electrical components
• Carrying out technical optimizations on turbines
• Fault analysis and troubleshooting
• Documentation of all work steps
• On-call duty at weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
