GIS Installation Supervisor

You will assemble Siemens Energy GIS systems, diagnose and resolve faults, conduct tests, interpret construction drawings and prepare detailed reports – always in compliance with EHS requirements. Your proactive approach ensures safe and efficient completion of tasks, supporting our mission of reliable and sustainable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Assembly of Siemens Energy gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) types 8DQ1-6, 8DN8-2/5/6 and 8DN9 to the highest quality standards
• Expert handling of SF₆ gas: perform CRM, SF₆ purity and leakage tests
• Troubleshooting and rectification of major GIS issues, ensuring peak reliability and availability
• Skilled use of GIS tools & test equipment; accurate interpretation of assembly drawings and work instructions
• Compilation of comprehensive installation and inspection reports, submission to the Know-How Center (KHC)
• Strict adherence to on-site EHS requirements: risk assessment, loss prevention, Zero-Harm initiatives, work at height protocols

What You Bring

• Electrical qualification with minimum 5 years of GIS and construction-site experience
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Highly self-organised with proven prioritisation skills; flexible when managing multiple tasks
• Sound problem-solving ability, especially under time-critical conditions
• Cultural sensitivity, integrity and exemplary personal conduct
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
