Proposal Engineer (f/m/d)

As a Proposal Engineer you prepare proposals for global centrifugal compressor projects for Siemens Energy customers. To strengthen our Europe & Africa sales team we are looking for dedicated colleagues at our Łódź site.

You review customer RFQs, create technical specifications, select equipment, coordinate internal departments and external suppliers and negotiate customer-focused solutions.

• Analyse customer RFQs and comment on technical specifications
• Select compressors, drivers and auxiliary systems
• Configure cost-effective overall solutions including external supply and price calculation
• Align with internal teams (Regional Coordination, Operations, Field Service) and external suppliers
• Risk analysis following internal management process
• Support the Sales Manager in strategy, customer meetings and presentations

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience or training in rotating machinery advantageous, entry level also welcome
• Fluent English (written & spoken), German is a plus
• Team player with strong communication, creative & analytical skills
• Positive, resilient and cooperative personality
• Readiness to work in Łódź and to travel domestically & internationally
