Welding repair of industrial gas-turbine components in accordance with manufacturing specifications.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform welding repairs on industrial gas-turbine parts per specification
• Read and interpret travelers/documents to derive work instructions
• Set up and adjust welding stations and machinery
• Carry out repair welding and blending of gas-turbine components
• Belt-sand and blend production parts, including in-process inspection
• Remove excess weld and braze material and grit-blast surfaces

What You Bring

• Completed certified welding program resulting in a vocational diploma or minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in one of the following processes: TIG, MIG, Stick, GMAW
• Ability to independently set up and operate related welding equipment
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; use of charts, tables, drawings, specifications
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future Siemens Energy sponsorship
