Head of Software Development - .NET (m/f/d)

Deutsche Windtechnik maintains, repairs, upgrades and inspects wind turbines. For 7,600 wind farms worldwide we actively drive the energy transition. To strengthen our team we are looking for a Head of Software Development - .NET (m/f/d) for a direct permanent full-time position at our site in Ostenfeld.

You take technical and disciplinary leadership of a development team working remotely, are responsible for enhancing systems that secure the availability and centrally collect data of wind turbines, and shape agile development processes. You plan and prioritise roadmaps, manage resources, integrate heterogeneous data sources and advise on group-wide digitalisation projects.

We expect a degree in computer science (or comparable qualification), several years of leadership experience in software development, solid command of .NET/C# and Python, experience with CI/CD, container and cloud technologies, test automation as well as basic understanding of IT security and software life-cycle management. Ideal prior exposure to critical infrastructure and the wind industry rounds off your profile. Very good German and English skills, willingness to travel and a class B driving licence are required.
