Apprenticeship as Mechatronics Technician (f/m/d) in Wind Energy

Deutsche Windtechnik is a leading specialist in the maintenance, repair, improvement and inspection of wind turbines. To strengthen our team we offer an apprenticeship as Mechatronics Technician (f/m/d) in wind energy, starting 01.09.2026 in the Soltau area.

You will learn how to build, install, maintain and repair state-of-the-art wind turbines while gaining solid knowledge in mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics and control technology. The practice-oriented training begins in our training workshop in northern Germany and leads you to real assignments at wind farms. Upon successful completion you will additionally qualify as an electrical specialist and independently carry out electrical work on our turbines.

Your profile:

  • Minimum age at start of training: 17 years
  • School leaving certificate or realization that previous educational/career path is not suitable
  • Physical fitness and no fear of heights
  • Good knowledge of mathematics and physics
  • Driving licence class B by the second year of training
  • Willingness to travel
