Buyer Indirect Material

Your Day at a Glance

You will be responsible for indirect purchasing, ensuring the supply of indirect materials and services to our sites. Your tasks include:

• Processing and monitoring purchase requisitions
• Running competitive tenders
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Negotiating contract terms with strategic suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with strategic procurement guidelines

How You Will Make an Impact

• Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with corporate objectives and risk mitigation
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to continuously improve quality, cost and delivery
• Take overall responsibility for pricing and cost-estimating activities within your commodity area
• Coordinate with all interfaces (Operations, Finance, Quality) for indirect procurement requirements
• Evaluate and develop suppliers based on clear KPIs

What You Bring

• Degree in business administration, engineering or comparable qualification
• Solid ERP knowledge (preferably SAP MM)
• Negotiation-level English and strong communication skills at all hierarchy levels
• Strong negotiation and project-management competence
• Knowledge of 5S, Kanban, Kaizen or similar methods is an advantage
• Resilient, goal-oriented and open to change
