Document Controller with German

A Snapshot of Your Day

As Document Controller you manage project documentation, control workflows, timelines and the filing of electronic and hard-copy documents in line with contractual, legal and corporate requirements.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Understand customer requirements for document control and ensure full standard compliance.
• Maintain documents in internal systems, track status and remind project teams of deadlines.
• Ensure payment-critical documents are submitted to and accepted by the customer; flag critical items to the (sub-)project manager.
• Use the electronic document management system to index, store and retrieve a wide range of files.
• Review documents for compliance, create revisions and archive obsolete versions.
• Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders and communicate required actions.
• Develop templates and train staff; keep document-control procedures up to date.
• Prepare monthly reports on assigned work packages.
• Maintain close cooperation with sub-project managers and engineers.

What You Bring

• Knowledge of project-management methods
• Strong customer and results orientation
• Proficient in MS Office and PM tools
• Excellent German and English skills
• Intercultural experience and willingness to travel preferred
