Electronics / Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines

Deutsche Windtechnik is Europe’s leading service provider for maintenance, repair, improvement and inspection of wind turbines. For our Cottbus site we are looking for an Electronics / Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) to strengthen our team.

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as electronics / mechatronics technician or equivalent qualification
• Experience in wind energy preferred – career changers welcome
• Knowledge of control & regulating technology, hydraulics, power electronics, mechanics
• Head for heights, physically fit, no fear of working at height
• German language skills at least level B2
• Reliable, independent, enjoy working in a team
• Driving licence class 3 or BE; willing to travel

Your tasks

• Carry out maintenance and servicing of wind turbines in a team
• Identify and rectify faults – electrical, mechanical or hydraulic
• Replace defective components and repair parts professionally
• Document all work carefully for full traceability
• Work closely with your team and keep in regular contact with your dispatcher
• Participate in paid on-call duties to ensure 24/7 operation
