Field Operations Manager (f/m/d)

Via improves mobility worldwide and reduces ecological footprints. Together with Dingolfing-Landau district we operate “LanDi”, an established on-demand service; since May 2025 the Mühldorf dial-a-ride bus complements the offer. For both services we are looking for a Field Operations Manager (f/m/d) to run the daily operations.

Your responsibilities

• Daily leadership and first point of contact for drivers in Dingolfing & Mühldorf
• Ownership of operational KPIs, shift planning and continuous process optimisation
• Staff support: onboarding, coaching, performance development
• Close collaboration with central operations teams to enhance service quality
• Active co-shaping of rural mobility transition through data-driven improvements

What you bring

• Several years of operational shift-management leadership experience
• Willingness to be on site ≥ 3 days/week for team leadership and culture building
• Strong communication skills and composure in critical situations
• Analytical, KPI-oriented working style plus high self-drive
• German C1, English B2; class B driving licence
